We're pleased to announce that the issue impacting some features on Prolific like messaging, has been successfully resolved as of 13/06/2025 at 02:27 BST. The affected systems and services are now operational, functioning as expected. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The issue was with an external provider and caused the Prolific platform to run slower, with intermittent issues to our messaging service. The impact began at 18:50 BST (12/06/2025) and we now understand that most of the interruption to Prolific's service had recovered by 20:30 BST.
